Will LentryWill Lentry

Will Lentry started announcing at the ripe old age of eight when his mother bought him a mini reel-to-reel recorder which he used to secretly tape his parents conversations for later broadcast (with complete play-by-play commentary) to all of the neighbors near his Detroit home!

After being grounded for life for that stunt, Will escaped to enlist in the U.S. Air Force at the age of 17 and he served four years in Italy as an Electrical Powerline specialist.

The GI Bill provided for his formal broadcasting education at Florida’s Brown Institute, and it became the springboard for his long career as an announcer and voice actor.

These days he enjoys spending time with the love of his life, caring for his brood of cats and dogs, and delivering news updates across northeast Indiana for News Radio WGL.
